Week-long sailing trips, by the cabin.

Reserve a berth for €100. Refundable until the trip confirms.

WHY BYOC

Where the category falls short. Where we don't.

The per-cabin sailing-holiday category sells a tempting promise. The lived experience is more variable. Here's how BYOC is built differently — structurally, not as a marketing line.

Other platforms BYOC
FLEET "Thousands of unique experiences" — fleet ages vary widely, no published floor. Yachts ≤4 years old. Sourced from SailChecker's 12-year operator network. Modern hulls only.
SKIPPER No published qualification standard. Skipper variability is the most common complaint thread on competitor Trustpilot. RYA Yachtmaster Offshore minimum. Vetted pool, English-speaking, hired out of trip economics.
CREW You find out who you're sailing with after you book. Vibe mismatch surfaces on day one. Constraint filters up front. No-stag · naturist-friendly · quiet-evenings · LGBTQIA+ · first-timers-welcome. The wrong crew never applies.
PRICING Cabin price is the platform's revenue. So it carries the platform's overhead. We earn boat commission from operators. Cabin price doesn't load our overhead. Structural undercut, not a flash sale.
REFUND "30-day flexible cancellation" — trips get listed and converted regardless of whether the boat actually fills. €100 holds your berth, refundable until viability. Boat assigned only when enough cabins reserve. Auto-refund by D-90 if not.
OVERCROWDING Documented cases of 8 people sold into a 6-berth boat to push viability. One berth = one berth. Cabin manifest is the contract. Sole-occupancy is a paid option, never a workaround.

Sources for category claims: published competitor homepages + their public Trustpilot review threads (April 2026). We'd rather show the comparison than make a softer claim.
